    Social media and misinformation

Young people are exposed to a wide range of content on social media that can influence their beliefs, attitudes and behavior. Among this content, misinformation seems to be increasingly present. Repeated exposure to misinformation can have negative consequences. For example, misinformation can amplify social and cultural tensions and divisions in the educational environment, which can have a negative impact on the school climate.
