    This tool helps you foster a culture of acceptance of body diversity within your class. It helps your students develop a healthy body image and recognize appearance-based biases so they don’t adopt them or contribute to spreading them.

    Sleep Survey: Can You Spot the Cards in the Deck?

    Using short, realistic profiles, students are invited to play the role of sleep detectives: identifying factors that influence sleep, understanding what helps or hinders it, and brainstorming possible, appropriate solutions. This activity aims to foster a nuanced understanding of sleep during adolescence, taking into account the biological, psychological, social, and cultural realities of young people.

    Adap•t – What Is Mental Health?

    An educational resource developed by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA-Montreal). Through three progressive activities, it guides students to define mental health in their own words, identify factors that protect or undermine it, and recognize the resources they can turn to when needed. Flexible and easy to incorporate, it can be facilitated in class or during lunch break.

    Creative Activity: Hands of Friendship

    This activity sheet invites students to create a self-portrait of friendship using a drawing of their hand. Students come to realize that forming connections is one of our basic needs and that we must therefore accept others for who they are.

    Cybersexuality (Understand, Prevent, Intervene)

    This tool helps to understand youth cybersexuality, the reasons that lead them to engage in it, and the legal framework surrounding sexual content. It also enables the identification of sexual cyberviolence, encourages reflection before sharing personal images, and provides guidance for adults on how to intervene to prevent risks and support young people.

Joining forces for mental health

Supporting young people in developing positive mental health is an essential action. Rain or shine, an Association pour la santé publique du Québec (ASPQ) initiative, in partnership with the Quebec government, will become your best friend in guiding them, with professional tools adapted to their different living environments.

This tool index offers both activities for school professionals and parents as well as training and interventions to expand young people's personal and social skills while promoting environments that support positive mental health.
