    We are a forest

Using the metaphor of a tree, its roots, trunk, branches, and crown, this activity invites students to reflect on what makes them who they are and what surrounds them: their loved ones, their school, and their community. Depending on their age and developmental stage, they will also be encouraged to explore what makes them unique and the contributions they make to the various groups they belong to. We encourage you to participate as well, as a member of the staff!

Immerse yourself in nature… and in yourself!

This activity invites your students to experience a guided relaxation session using nature sounds. After the activity, they will reflect on their emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations, and then share their observations in small groups or as a whole class. The activity concludes with a discussion on the benefits of nature for well-being, which you may adapt as you see fit. We encourage you to participate as a staff member as well!
